giant playgrounds are pretty cool

December 1, 2014

There are so many times in my life where I think about being a kid again. Obviously I’m not old. I’m still a teenager (for 4 more days), but still. I always find myself wanting to go back to the times where the biggest worry was that I had just dropped my food on the ground (which happened often). This desire for childhood was achieved when I visited the City Museum in St. Louis. In the words of my 7-year-old cousin “it’s an old shoe factory turned into a huge playground!” Basically it’s a 600,000 square-foot building filled with amazing randomness.

this first floor is filled with so many tunnels and passageways. if you find an opening, go in it.
